Harry's is owned and operated by Top Church Training, an award-winning community charity, based in Brierley Hill. Opening Harry's in 2020 was the realisation of a long-held dream of the charity to operate its own community coffee shop with the simple mission to  bring people together so that they can change their world.

Harry’s is a physical manifestation of the core values that drive the charity. Since 1997, we have existed to 'advance the education and develop the capacity and skill of the members of the socially and economically disadvantaged communities of The Black Country and surrounding areas in such a way that they are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society'.

What this relies upon is our ability to bring people together. Our Connect project was born to do just that: to help people connect with others and with people who can support them through at Harry's and through our activities, events and volunteering opportunities. Harry’s is not the only venue we use, but it does provide a strong visual of who we are and an excellent resource when required.​

Although we were first formed by a local vicar of a Christian church community, Top Church Training and Harry's are not religious organisations. We are open to people of all faiths and no faith.
